Shoal P. Berer (1920-2009) was the founder of Berer Financial Management, which began in 1967, and was a nationally known money management specialist written up twice in Money Magazine. His proprietary research and analytical teams developed one of the first managed money services in the country designed to mitigate risk to investment accounts. Mr. Berer's investment firms have supplied their specialized investment services to brokers and financial planners across the country. His passion for excellence and timeless dedication to his clients will endure for generations.
Brett Pechersky is the owner of Berer Financial Management in Monroeville, PA. He is a Registered Representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. and an Investment Advisor Representative of Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc. Brett works closely with his clients when designing their financial plan, and then guides them through the management of their retirement assets. His professional career began with private financial planning firms in downtown Pittsburgh, and as a college agent for Northwestern Mutual Life. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and dual minors in Business Law and ISSA (Information Statistics & Statistical Analysis), Brett became a licensed Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in Pittsburgh in 1999. In March of 2014, he transitioned his practice to Cambridge, an independent broker/dealer, as a way to offer his clients a broader range of products, enhanced customer service, and improved access to technology.
Brett is an energetic speaker and conducts his lively educational seminars, "SEASONED INVESTORS" across the Pittsburgh area. A lifetime fisherman who enjoys the game of golf, Brett and his family live in Murrysville, PA.
